About Me

My photo
We met May 22, 2010 and enjoy going through life together even on the bad days because they make the best ones even better! We enjoy cake and going on walks. Contradictory, we know. We ride horses, play chess, and try to make room for homework.

School is almost out!

We have 2 1/2 weeks left! I sooo cannot wait until its over. It is getting brutal though I have a two part final for grammar class along with two final projects, an oral exam in Major Authors, Exam for Light & Sound, and Modern lit with family foundations exams. WOO! That is alot! But I can handle it. I don't know how much Justin has but I don't want to think about it either.

Our tarantula Chuvak is now with us and thank goodness our Landlord hasn't met him either. We hunted for crickets and put them in his cage but a few escaped through the lid so we have been trying to find them. Last night Justin felt something crawling on his face and it was a cricket! We still didn't find them after that.

This summer we are spending a week in AZ visiting his dad and Karen. Alek, and Tori will be there as well so it will be an action packed family reunion. :) Justin and I are also the Marriage and Family Relations teachers in our ward. Basically we teach people how to have a successful marriage. Sometimes I feel like I am preaching to the choir because we have only been married for about 7 months with no children thank goodness. But alot of other couples are either just new or been married to 5 years and between all that they have kids too! We do our best though and it works out.

Its in the 90's here which is super nice so we have the windows open 24/7. We do have AC but we are not going to use it until it reaches 100. Lately though we have plotted to blow up the constructions sites around our complex. They are drilling/ digging the ground up behind and in front of us. They also only start at 5am then leave at 8am. They never come back after that. But to drill at 5am is super annoying and they are blocking our road access so we have to move their "Road Closed" signs and cones to leave the complex.

SO jealous you two are almost done! And I don't blame you. I'd beat up the construction workers too.
