About Me

My photo
We met May 22, 2010 and enjoy going through life together even on the bad days because they make the best ones even better! We enjoy cake and going on walks. Contradictory, we know. We ride horses, play chess, and try to make room for homework.

Plasma requirements

Amy, Kari, Wesmow and I went to the Plasma center last saturday and we got up at 5:30am to get in line at 6 and it opens at 8. There was a long line once it was time for the place to open but at first we were the only ones. Which was good because we didn't have to wait for a long time. Amy has been there before but got cut because they can only take so many a day of first timers. The 4 of were called first up and I got in line. He asked if I have done this before I said no. He asked for identification and my social security card. But since I didn't have my social security card I asked if memory was ok. He said no and that they had to see the card. So I got up at 5am for nothing. As did Kari and Wesmow. Amy had hers but we thought they just needed ID. I have donated blood before and they never asked for that just ID. So I have to get a new card and the process is no fun. But I am excited that soon I will be able to donate plasma. :D They pay you 25 bucks for everytime so I will go twice a week once I can go :)

I attempted to do it before but they rejected me after 2 hours of waiting and interviewing. The reason: I had a cadaver bone graft. [SIGH]
