Maximum Ride

My mom bought a series from James Patterson called "Maximum Ride." I read the first book on Tuesday, second book on Wednesday, today I am reading the third. These books are not small by any means. This series is AMAZING! I would put it up there with "The Uglies," and "Twilight Series." No, it is not mooshy gushy like Twilight but it is so fresh! The characters you automatically like. The plot seems to thicken with every page you turn. Just looking at the book makes me happy, when I open it I get all tense. Turns out James Patterson has been rated the #1 Best Seller in New York around 12 times!!! That is more than Dean Koontz and Stephen King! Maximum Ride carrys the same intensity as Stephen King, but parts of the plot remind me of Dean Koontz. He is a very talented author. I am perplexed by how he can reperesent the main character so well. Her name is Max and is 14 but has to save the world. She thinks and acts the same way I do. It felt like I was listening to myself, weird! It is a total MUST READ!!!! Trust me I know a good author and don't let this talent swing right by you! Go buy it! If you are worried if there is romance or language fear not! Romance is kept to a minimum! :D They never say the swear words but they say crap twice in the second book. GO BUY IT!!!
